2020 Concerts Our second performance of 2020 was another contribution to the Butleigh Revue on Saturday 18th January. See 2020 Concerts page for a report and photos. The photo left is a a special glimpse of our opening 2020 concert in Keinton Village Hall. Our next concert was planned to take place on Saturday 4th April in St George's Church, Hinton St George, but has now been called off. See the Concert Programme for more details of this and future concerts. Early booking is recommended as, since our appearance at the 2019 Glastonbury Extravaganza there is great interest in hearing us sing in more intimate venues. |

We continue to welcome new members who can try out a rehearsal or two before committing to joining us as a paid-up member. See the How to Join Us page for more. A complete list of our repertoire is on the Our Music page to get an idea of the wide variety of songs we sing. |
Successful Workshop to end 2019 in style
The 2019 year ended in style with a choir workshop, led by Dr Douglas Coombes on Monday 16th December, followed by traditional Christmas refreshments. Douglas is a very accomplished composer, arranger, conductor and director of choirs and was accompanied by his wife Carole, who is also a professional musician who played an active part in the workshop. Douglas put us through our paces with a lively warm-up, a series of exercises exploring a capella music and finally suggested some improvements to the way we sing 'To Where You Are', one of our regular performance songs. It was altogether a brilliant way to end 2019 and was followed by the usual festive end to the year. Jennifer and Hilde were presented with gifts from the boys after which we enjoyed a sumptuous buffet thanks in particular to tenor Bob Burns (of Burns the Bread fame), Hilde and Jennifer.
